paddirn 1
I'm trying to install the Mac version of the driver, but I'm not certain if it's actually doing anything. It doesn't appear to be, since when I use the BetterTouchTool, it's not recognizing any of the additional buttons when I try to configure them. Is there a newer Mac driver available or problems with it working with this version of the MacOS?
RomVA 4
Not that I'm aware of. But no, when installing current Mac driver, you will not 'see' anything being installed. At the moment there is no GUI available. That's why you have to install BetterTouchTool to get a GUI. There are issues with current mappings: some buttons not mapped, shift click to select multiple items not working, wrong buttons mapped, etc So it's a work in progress. Do you have Access to a Windows PC? Recommend to connect you mouse first to a Windows PC to update the firmware. But before you do that download the mac driver on the PC so you have access to the default Mac profile for the mouse. After firmware update you will need to apply the profile to set the mouse back to the default Mac configuration. Is there a newer Mac driver available? Yes, but it's beta. Nonetheless I do recommend to try it out, see:https://www.swiftpoint.com/customer-support/download-z-drivers/swiftpoint-z-mac-driver-download/ Even with the beta I still use BetterTouchTool to get even more out of the mouse.
