Adding to the Zs config mode

Recommended Posts

The Z's config mode is created entirely with the customization options provided by the Swiftpoint Driver.

This means it is completely user configurable, allowing you to change how it is activated, and which functions it gives you access to.

Config modes settings are all contained in the Global Defaults profile. So that they are inherited by all other profiles unless intentionally overridden. Specifically they can be found in the "Tilt left / right" section under "Tilt Right 25°".

Basically all config mode is, is a set of input combinations using "Tilt Right 25°" as the parent input, then assigning useful settings to the other mouse buttons beneath it.

As a simple example of adding to config mode, you may find it useful to be able to move between sub and parent profiles without opening the driver. So to add these two functions to the left and right mouse buttons while in config mode, just follow the steps below.

  1. Select the Global Defaults profile.
  2. View the "Tilt left / right" settings.
  3. Click the "+ADD" button that appears when you hover your cursor over "Tilt Right 25°"
  4. Add left and right mouse button inputs using the dialog box that appears.
  5. Add Parent and Sub profile switch functions to left and right mouse buttons.
